My thoughts exactly. It would be interesting to hear Larry Boucher's take on what happened. I've talked to two officials that were at the game and they said there was no doubt he came onto the floor. The officials obviously saw him come on the floor, because they gave him a T. I guess they just don't know the rule. That's not good if you ask me.:madman:

 

The official on the opposite sideline saw him because he pointed at him and when it happened, not sure why KHSAA wouldn't have delcared him inelgible for the next game not matter what the officals did, but I think there is an appeals process for that.

I second the "hats off to Shelby". Coming into the tournament they were given little chance of winning a game and throughout the year they were overlooked because they were in the 8th region. Shelby played step for step with Mason and answered every run the Royals had. I don't know if I have seen a high school team play that hard. I saw all three Shelby games and they played harded than any other team in the Sweet Sixteen. That coaching staff should be commened for the effort those kids gave.

By rule, if a player enters the playing floor from the bench, it is an automatic ejection. He should not be playing tonight!

 

Rules are rules the kid should have sat the championship and the game should have been played with the players who followed the rules.:ylsuper:
