Trigg County is Class 2A. They have a roster of about 60-65 and had about 40 kids qualify for the state powerlifting meet.

60-65 football players, mainly 10-12 grade with a few freshmen on there.

I deadlifted 640 at 220 lbs my junior year when I won state. At Fern Creek we had a RB that deadlifted over 700 lbs. His name was Jeremy Davis.

I wasnt aware that Curt Angle was coaching powerlifting at Trigg. Is that big guy in the pictures really Curt Angle?

Congrats to Trigg Co. If anyone has never seen the football team, and I am only talking from my experience, those guys are hugh. I have seen them play Owensboro Catholic several time ( all playoffs for the most part ) and I was always stunned by the size of those guys. I can only assume many of those lifters play football, but nonetheless Catholic often won those games, but I can assure you Catholic, even with some pretty big guys themselves, felt it all thoughout the game and the next day. Congrats again to the powerlifting champs from Trigg.:ylsuper: BTW way the Adams kid from a few years ago should go to Hollywood and be a bodyguard to the stars. One look at him and and your life would flash before your eyes.

The last time I saw the Adams guy, it looked as if he had never touched a weight in his life. He looked more like a basketball player with a gut. Is he getting to play at Louisville?
