I would love to see Augusta win this one!

I don't believe they have, I heard that Montgomery is a big team, but if Scott is able to run against them it will be a lot closer than a lot of people think. Got to take it one game at a time though.

 

??? didn't they just win a game and only scored 39 ??? Running might not be the best option if both these teams make it to the semi-finals.

Just a fun historical fact: Augusta is 1-13 in regional play, all-time. That one win came in 1950! They defeated Carlisle, 41-32, and then lost in the semis to Maysville, 47-39.

 

The other five teams in that tournament were: Cynthiana, Connersville, Paris, St. Patrick and Morgan.

 

It's real neat to look back at the all-time results and see all the schools that ever competed in a 10th region tournament. For instance, did anyone know that there used to be a high school called "Oddville?"
