Walton Verona wins by 9

Depends on which WV team shows up. If it is the team that gave up a twelve point lead to Carroll County, then Grant wins by 6, If it is the team that whipped Trimble County by 25+, then WV by 15. I believe the Lady

Bearcats control their own destiny, but they must come to play.

Offensively, both teams bring a lot of weapons to the table. Grant may have a slight edge down low...Walton, likewise, on the outside. Will be interesting to see what Grant does defensively to Hargett. Maybe a chaser? I'd also expect Walton to pack it down in a zone and dare Grant to shoot it from outside. If Johnson and Plunkett (and Hopperton) hit some open shots, they could make the Lady Bearcats pay.

 

Because of Grants better depth down low...and since it's on their home court...I'll take Grant by 5.

Walton by 10. Guard play will be a major factor and if Walton pressures Grant, they may have problems.

Grant has been playing well lately, even with the loss of Gorby (?) to the ACL tear. However, WV could certainly come out strong and not look back.

 

I will go with Grant by 5.

I would expect this one to be a good one! Will probably come down to the younger gals on both teams & how they respond knowing it is a win it or your done game. Confidence is everything. Going with Grant by 5.
