While that is an impressive stat, and I do love the Patriots, IU Northwest wouldn't be able to win some high school regional tournaments here in Kentucky.

The University of the Cumberlands (15-3, 0-0) baseball team is continuing their winning ways as they swept the competition at home this week, taking two from Indiana University-Northwest and two more from Goshen College. Sophomore Ryan Bennett (Winchester, KY) started his first game for the Patriots on the year and put in a record setting day’s work. Bennett struck out 14 in 5 innings of work, which eclipsed the old record of 13, set by now assistant coach Brad Meyer. The Patriots defeated the RedHawks in game two by a score of 25-1. The Patriots are on the road this weekend against West Virginia Tech on Friday and Saturday in their first Mid-South Conference action. See the Patriots on Monday March 17th and Tuesday March 18th in home action against Union College. Both of those games are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Good Job Patriots!!! :thumb:
