Best Cheer From A Cheering Section

Principal Clines and the Cov. Cath. administration are very proactive in avoiding potential conflicts in the stands. First of all, the Cov. Cath. student section would never have followed the lead of an opposing school's cheerleader (even if he did have a long beard, rod and staff). Second, nothing good and potentially lots bad could come from letting the situation fester. A bit later in the fourth quarter another "guest" came into the Cov. Cath. student section. In about 15 secods the situation deteriorated into a near riot. Mr. Clines and the Covington PD quickly interceded and avoided something potentially ugly. As a parent I very much appreciate his hands on, in control approach. Why tempt fate?
