Mustangs take on Deming at 8pm in Mount Olivet on Saturday night.

I did not make it out to this game. I had a commitment to keep with the Augusta Freshmen team. I hear the Panthers played well the first half but BB defense got the better of them in the second half and forced alot of turnovers. I also heard the BB couldnt miss a shot the second half either.

Speaking of Augusta's frosh...........Saw them play Newport tonight and even though they lost they put up close to 60 points and are very talented!

Newport has a nice Freshmen group, so it's no disgrace to get beat by the Wildcats.

 

Coach Kelsch deserves a nice group of talented athletes who are capable of making serious noise on the 10th Region "A" scene.

Yes they are a nice group. They play three freshmen and the rest are 8th graders. They will grow and do very well.
