GRC travles to the 11th region to take on LaFayette Friday the 15th. How do you see this game playing out?

Should be a good game.

I'll give Lafayette the home court advantage and the win by 2.

This should be a good match up. GRC is young but these youngsters are playing better each game.Coach Humphries is a good coach but going into Lexington is always tough no matter which school you play. Lafayette has been down this year but has lost alot of close games. Will be a nice competitive game:ylsuper:

Yes they will have the home court advantage, but suprised to see a Mason Co fan post this. I have always been told that the home court advantage is about 10 points. If the Cards can come out playing like they did in the AIT, they would get the win. Should be a great game.

It's never good to compare games with other teams, however GRC and LCA split games this year, LCA right at the beginning of the year when GRC was finding itself, then GRC later knocked off LCA on their own home court. However, with LCA defeating Lafayette 77 to 52 at home last night, and playing without a starter, who was nursing the flu, I will have to take GRC by 14 points. Why 14 points, I dunno.

I predict GRC by 15. Lafayette has not quite put it together this year, and GRC is young and improving. I do not see any home court advantage at Lafayette....there has been light fan turnout this year, and I do not believe they get a home court refereeing advantage either from what I have seen.

That is a good observation, with the exception of Lexington Catholic I have noticed very very low turn out among the student bodies at the Lexington Schools. In fact when LCA played at Dunbar, they pulled in the Dunbar baseball team to sit under one of the goals, and if they hadn't brought in the baseball team I would have to estimate that LCA had more fans there than Dunbar. I noticed a similiar low turn out at Tates Creek, however, that was a Saturday game. Perhaps it's the flu hitting schools, or just apathy after the start of the year. However, Dunbar has a very good team, I would think they would get more support.

In a regular season game , it seems as though people just don't go to ball games the way they once did. I guess there's too many other things to do or places to go.:ylsuper:
