Those extra 8 extra points were "essential" according to SSF, just imagine how bad it would have been if they hadn't scored 100 before.

Just goes to show you no one is safe in this region. I don't think it's quite so shocking of a loss, surprising yes but not shocking to lose to an average team on the road in another region. The loss to Rockcastle was much more surprising to me. Southwestern playing Lincoln close was also more surprising.

I will bet you that Coach Jones didn't try to have his team hold on to the ball the last 2 minutes to prevent Green Co. from Scoring 100.

Road game, a week after they played Wayne to a three point game. It didn't surprise me.

You are right, but only becuase the crowd did not tell him to do it.

Green County is barely a top 10 team in the 5th Region. If McCreary is supposed to be a contender in the 12th, there is no excuse whatsoever to lose this game. Especially by double digits.

5th Region is much tougher than 12th as a whole. More athletes. Proved that in the state tournament last year when Adair County's underclassmen spanked Lincoln County's juniors and seniors.

Green Co had Adair Co down by 12 points at thier place earlier this year, but the Indians did rally and beat the dragons. Green County has a pair of good guards especally Henderson and they are also a deep team.

I've seen Green a couple times this year, and wasn't terribly impressed. Adair, for some reason, has had a tendency to spot teams leads all year, then come back late. Did it against Nelson Co. and Taylor Co. (2x), and I'm wondering if they'll do the same thing Tuesday against Bardstown.

I wouldn't have expected this.
