*Jeanie* Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Walton Verona got their second straight win, and seem to be able to find ways to win games. Walton and Gallatin seemed a little 'slow' tonight. Meaning, each team seemed a step slow to loose ball's and rebounds. Walton ended up shooting 18/55 from the floor. It was a bad night, but it went both ways. Reasons, probably because it was an early game and on Saturday! Good luck to both teams at the end of the season! Good Job Walton!:jump:
*Jeanie* Posted February 10, 2008 Author Posted February 10, 2008 Congrats to the Ladycats.:thumb: Madman! No play, by play from you tonight!?
Lunatic1 Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Congrats WV! Gallatin is a tough place to play and they have been playing well.
CatPride24 Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Not to put down Gallatin, but I am suprised this was as close as it was.
Mr. Athletics Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 A win is a win. Teams can't play great every time out.
*Jeanie* Posted February 11, 2008 Author Posted February 11, 2008 Good job Lady Bearcats! OneCat, I saw on the Trimble/Walton thread, about the the Lady-Bearcats shooting, just seeing if the information that I was told was correct? Any official word on that stat?
FarBeyondDriven Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Not to put down Gallatin, but I am suprised this was as close as it was.Yes, I was surprised also. W-V has superoir talent and Gallatin was playing their fourth game in six days. But those are the only reasons i was surprised. It seems that the girls program at W-V has slightly underachieved in recent years considering thier talent level.
