Ricky,

Thru all the comments made on BGPreps and all thru all the forums that get closed, the 16th Region fans are still there for all the other schools in time of need.

We all get on here and support our past and present teams, but all in all still root and support all the 16th Region teams. The 16th Region fans are special. The rest of the state can compare our player talent at our schools as being lower than most of the State, but our Fans in the 16th are at the Top of the State.

(BTW, dont tell anyone, but I even rooted for Ashland a few years back when they were playing Paintsville in the State Championship:sssh::sssh:

As I said in my post I was sitting on the top row of the bleachers and that I'm a blind old man, and I said it seemed to be a taunt. I saw him make some sort of jesture toward the young men sitting on the floor. I've never seen an official respond to fans during a game. You may be right, maybe they are all buddies or something. They seem to all be about the same age. How do you know for sure it was a thumbs up and a wink? Were you at the game? If so, what did you think about all the jersey pulling that was going on?

I was at the game and saw for myself......As for the jersey pulling, in my opinion, you are making a mountain out of a molehill.....I know there was some grabbing going on but not as much as you make it out to be.....I also know that not all contact is going to be called a foul. That doesnt mean it wasnt seen by an official it simply means the officials judged it to not be worthy of a whistle. Why interupt the flow of a game with a foul call on contact that really had no impact on the play/game? Dont get me wrong, there were calls missed last night that probably should have been made. Its that way every game, every night, everywhere.......

I dont want to fail to comment on the Senior Night ceremony.....Very touching......My prayers still go out to the Garnes family. My own parents lost a son at age 8. That has been over 40yrs ago and my Mother's mood still changes during the month of his death.

I am one of the "gentlemen in the corner" and I will say I am not making anything out of the gesture except for having fun with it. I'm not going to go so far to say it was a well called game, but I will say the calls or lack of did not affect the game.

I disagree on the shirt pulling though. I have seen every game RH has played this year. I am seeing defenses grabbing Euton and Jackson constantly and never seeing calls. When it happens away from the ball, maybe a no call is ok, but under the basket on every inbounds play should be called.

But it was an entertaining game, I had fun.

I have an impression for you guys. Here goes, guess who this is :thumb:

I know.

I wasn't offended by the gesture just kind of suprised there was any reaction at all. I like uncle Jed have to disagree on the jersey pulling. In this case it was blatant and effected the play and it happened over and over again. It doesn't make them bad officials just I think they missed that one.

With that said I have always thought Shane Ramey called a good game as does Greenhill. I don't remember the other official.
