NCC shouldn't run but needs to get up the floor before Highlands can set up the defense and find their man. You can bet Willie will be attacking Pangallo trying to force the ball into Beiting's hands being he's not the best ball handler on the court and doesn't score well. I'm sure we'll see Beiting guarding Simpson which will make for a good match up!

Jermine Connor is the difference. If NCC finds a way to get him open, then Geisler can control paint. If not Birds only have to guard Lipscomp and Geisler.The rest of the team can't beat anyone. That would make it a 5 on 2 game.

 

I have seen the Breds play 3 times (N. College Hill, Newport in the A, and Holmes). In the few games I have seen, Pangallo was the difference. The team goes as far as he takes them. A very nice player!!!

Grant is a fine player and fun to watch but he will have his hands full tonight on the defensive side of the ball. Who will he guard and will NCC go zone?

I think the coach needed to set up plays to get his shooters open. Instead sit the best shooter and scorer. Now people pack in against Geisler and his numbers go down.

What is funny is Geisler was getting 5.1 rebounds a game and Connor was getting 4.9 rebounds a game. Not bad at 5-10 compared to 6-6.
