Trueblue23 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I thought that I would start a thread on everyone's opinion of who you think are the top guards in Northern Ky (or the state). Opinions?
C-TOWN #12 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Here are 5 that come to mind. Tolliver SK Conley SK Jacey Bradley Boone Katie Allen Highlands Casey Jackson Notre Dame Allison Long from Conner is also a strong Honorable Mention

NCC06 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Allen from HHS Sandfoss at NCC is starting to get better Both these girls only sophomores they will get much better
3ptshooter Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Long(Conner), Bradley(Boone), Tolliver(SK), Jackson(NDA), Allen(HHS), Sandfoss(NCC), Bowling(BHS) No particular order but if you take any of these girls off their teams it is a major factor.
DMZ76 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Natalie Horner from Highlands is quite the 3 pt. "bomber". Only a junior and has tremendous upside!
shsbballmom Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 How about McLeish from Ryle, Tierney from Notre Dame and Benzinger from Scott.
24smom Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 ...if you take any of these girls off their teams it is a major factor. Going along these lines with this quote (and extending out of the immediate No KY area a bit): Gray-Shelby Co., Girdy-Carroll County, Jones-S. Oldham, Gorby-Grant Co. Stats aside, their presence alone changes the dynamic of their respective teams. Impact players, some on defense, some on offense, sometimes both, but they are each the key to the effectiveness of their respective teams. Great players listed here! I have seen all of them play. Tolliver & Long are my personal favorites.

3ptshooter Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 ??? What are you confused about? or Are you saying shouldn't be listed? or BHS(Beechwood)
3ptshooter Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Weaver from Holmes. Don't know that I would consider Jaz a guard but if you do I would have to agree. She has the best left hand in NKY and better realize she has two hands before heading down here to my state.

I do consider her a guard. She can go to the right or left it all depends on what type of mood she's in for that game. When she is into it, she is the top player in the ninth.
