Madison Central essentially blows the game because they can't hit free throws, the Royals made theirs.

 

Downing doesn't play because of the injury, King barely plays cause of foul trouble. Yet the Royals find a way, SOMEHOW.

 

Get the win and get the heck out town.

Mason Co. made free throws down the stretch where Madison Central struggled. I think they were 3-11 in the fourth quarter.

Good road win for the Royals.

Indians lead most of the game until under 3 minutes when they miss one free throw after another.

It was expected to be a tough game, even with one of Madison Central's best players not playing.

 

Mason Co had an injury of their own to a key player, both teams playing a man down.

 

By no means shocking that the game was close. A tough place to play on the road, regardless of the losses that Central has had this year.

Some might say that, but Mason knows game in game out that their opponent will bring their best game. In the end despite the other teams short comings...bottom line is great teams find a way to win and Mason did just that tonight!

Mason County was playing one of the upper teams in the 11th region on the road. They earned the hardfought win against a solid team....no more, no less.

Both teams played great tonight and it just came down to free throws. I believe Madison Central was 7 of 28 on the night, while Mason was pretty solid at the line. Congrats to Mason on the win even though it was hard to watch the Indians throw the game away at the line.

This type of game will only benefit Mason County come post season. Playing in front of a crowd, on the road, finding a way to win. All intangibles in the game it takes to overcome to win the big games.

Top 5 Player in the state? You must not have watched the same player I did. He isn't close to a top 5 player in the state. He isn't even a top 5 player in the 11th in my opinion.

Good win for the royals on the road. I expected this to be a tough game. They have a great coach at Madison Central. Also I didn't hear the start of the game, who started for Downing? I would expect Phil Barner or Jackson Tolle?
