All "A" Rd. 2 University Heights vs Bishop Brossart

Featured Replies

You don't know? UH likely starts two division 1 players on their team. Say what you will about them being selfish, poorly coached or whatever, but Brossart doesn't have anyone that can match up with them.

That's no disrespect meant to the Brossart kids cause I know they will play as hard as they can for 32 minutes.

The Mustangs lost to Mason Co by 35 and even though that was the MCIT, it certainly wasn't the same tournament atmosphere that the All A is.

Mason Co may be better than UH, but they aren't THAT much better. A 30 point loss is what I expect.

How can you say that Mason is not that much better. Yea Brossart did lose to them by 35 and yea it was in the MCIT which makes it that much harder. Do you have any idea how hard it is to beat Mason at home for any game, and with it being in the MCIT that makes it even harder. You obviously have no clue what it takes to play them in their own tournament. So you can't compare games here.

As for it being a 30 point loss, I do not believe that will be the case. I know it will be tough for the Mustangs to pull it out but who knows. They have a couple good things working for them. They are improving every time they step on that floor, they have one of the best coaching staffs in the state, they play great defense, and most of all the amount of confidence that they are playing with right now could lead to a very good game. Either way it goes I look for this to be a very good game and very close.

I know Brossart can pull it off and yes it will be very difficult to do but hey thats what everyone said about St Pats and Lexington Christian and look what happened in those games.

GO MUSTANGS!!!!!

U Heights is better at every positon on the floor. Hopson and Edmonson are so talented its scary. The Blazers should roll.

I do not believe that UH is better or the same as Mason. However I do believe they could give them a heck of a game. But with the sweet 16 bracket i'm not sure if they will even play. However that's not for another month and a half. I just take them one game at a time. And for this game... I honestly don't think BB has any kind of chance at all. BUT the same was said last year. UH has matured alot since last year and has a good chance to make a run this year. But for now... Have fun and show them what your made of. Go Blazers!!!!

I'm not surprised they beat St Pat and LCA. Everything you say in your middle paragraph I completely agree with. I became a huge fan of the Mustangs last year when I watched them play Mason Co 2 times. I love the way they get after it and I love to watch them play defense.

I would love to see them beat UH, I'm a 10th and 16th region fan. However, UH likes to run and they can score points in a hurry. If there is one thing Brossart can't do it's get in a shootout. I just don't see any scenario imaginable in which they hold UH to under 50 points. That is the only way they win this game and UH will have between 35-40 points in the first half alone.

I think UHA will win by 25 plus. Scotty Hopson will have a big game.

I agree with HC... UH LOVES a fast paced game. Unless if BB can somehow slow the game down (and even if they did they couldn't slow the WHOLE game down) there is no way they can keep up with the points.

Brossart has just got to play defense like they know how, rebound and control tempo.
