February 1, 200818 yr By todays standards,I can't say that these are the best,but they ARE my all time favorites..I still play them The original Bard's Tale (all 3,mind you)..My all time favorite RPG The original Railroad Tycoon (I can play it all night!!) I agree original railroad tycoon by sid meier was awesome. rrt2 was great too. The economy features in those two games were outstanding.

You got it ..and sometimes the random generator will kick out a scenario that will kick your hiney no matter HOW good you are at it...great game and ALWAYS a challenge.

I would have to load it up again and see if I can remember, but I don't think I will bother. Some buddies of mine convinced me to reinstall Diablo II recently, so I am not inclined to reinstall another addicting game.
