Mason County is a tough team to beat when they get 4 players in double digits in scoring. Menke has had two nice games and has provided the scoring that Mason will need come post season. If that 5th player could knock down 8-10 points a game, this team would be tough to beat. Congrats to the Lady Royals. Tough matchup against Highlands tonight. Highlands shoots the ball very well, patient on offense, and gave Montgomery County last weekend all they wanted until the final four minutes of the ballgame. A nice game for the Lady Royals to play heading into February. You always get better playing tough teams, especially this time of the year.

If she can continue this scoring in the postseason against tougher teams like Montgomery Co. and company, then Mason will be extremely tough to beat, but I know I was listening to the Lex. Cath game the other night and didn't hear anything from her. She ended up with 0. In big games, her numbers aren't as impressive, but in the smaller games, she has pretty good numbers. They will need more than the 3 seniors to score for them to be successful in the postseason.

Players go through stretches where they fall in a slump and there is no doubt that her production was missed in a few games including Catholics game, but as far as hearing her name on the radio in Catholics game, she is like any other player and suffers growing pains. Over the Christmas break in the tournaments, you would hardly hear Litzingers name as a Senior or 1/3 of your termed "Big 3" so to speak and that is because she was going through a tough stretch. Good players bounce back and Menke has put together a couple of solid games and has to do wonders for her confidence.

Is this a tournament, or is it just kind of a round robin thing? Like will there be a final and a first place team and all of that?

This is a tournament with a final championship game.
