Yeah. What's going on with Male? Did somebody quit the team or something?

Some Louisville HS Fans tell us what is up with Male?? Lost 2 games recently. The 7th Region is tough and loaded with good teams and understand they haven't been losing to Bugtustle High School. LIT loss not that surprising, but losing to Seneca is??

It's the 7th region. You either suit up and play hard or you get beat.

 

Seneca is rated around the 8th best team in the 7th as was ROSE HILL was rated around 8th best in the 16th. What happened to Elliott?

The future looks good for Seneca. They start three sophomores and two freshman. Actualy I think Male has overachieved this year. They lost a lot of seniors last year. They are extremely well coached and prepared each game under Tom Crews. If you can neutralize The "beast" Dexter Heyman Male can be beat. The problem is not many teams have someone to match-up with him. Eastern does with Darrin Williams who is big and strong at 6'7. Seneca has a big strong sophomore in Andre Hearn about 6'6. In both losses Heyman had only 9 & 10 points. The 7th is wide open with Male, J-town, Ballard, Manual, & Eastern. Male and J-Town play This Saturday the 26th according to the schedule. However, in the 7th you better be ready each night or you can be beat. Trinity lossed to Cal last night.

Seneca is a solid program and very well coached. Like dawgs83 mentioned, they have some very good young talent.

I was wondering the same thing. They squeked by St. X and then lost to Eastern I think (which is a good team) but now they lost to Seneca. How good is Male?
