April 14, 200818 yr I saw Tristan Prettyman one time in Louisville when she opened for Ray LaMontagne. Her style isn't something I usually go for but she has a really good voice and she isn't half bad on the guitar either.

Her style isn't something I usually go for but she has a really good voice and she isn't half bad on the guitar either. Yep, I discovered her through Jason Mraz when they were dating at one time. They have since broken up, her style is okay. I didn't know about the new album, but I'm sure its good if you are into that kind of thing.

April 21, 200818 yr I'm not sure if I can bring myself to listen to the new Blind Melon or not... I was thinking the same thing, I didn't know if it was some kind of compilation/best of CD. Didn't realize til I looked it up that the surviving members got another lead singer and finally moved forward.

April 22, 200818 yr Mudcrutch has an album coming out April 29th. Mudcrutch is Tom Petty's original band before he formed the Heartbreakers band. They never released an album when the group was originally formed so this is their debut album (35 years after the formation of the band:thumb:)

It's Billy Howerdel's new project. I've only heard two of the songs from Ashes Divide but he's an amazing guitarist who can be credited for forming as well as writing the majority of the music for A Perfect Circle. According to Wikipedia he was also a guitar tech for Faith No More, Fishbone, David Bowie, The Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, Guns N' Roses, and Tool, among other bands.
