CalPreps also has "project-a-matchup." For example: Lincoln County @ McCreary Central - Jan. 29th. --Lincoln County is a 6-point favorite. (The projects can and will change as it gets closer and either team has a great win/loss, etc.) However, if the two meet at the region tournament, as of today, Lincoln would be an 8-point favorite.
mcpapa Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Outside of Mason County, they don't think too much of the 10th Region. Maybe you have to play some of the national powerhouses to get serious consideration. Montgomery County 28th Clark County 40th Campbell County 77th Here's the link: http://calpreps.com/2007-2008-boysbasketball/ratings/Kentucky_all.htm
Lion Mania Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 These are obviously some out of state ratings done by a computer somewhere. I'll stick with Cantrell, Lit, BGP, and AP (In State) Like the other person said how do you even access these ratings and where are they?? Most of us never heard of these before??
d-dawg Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I have never seen so many different ratings in all my life. How could you tell who's who in the world of KY preps basketball. CRAZY:lol:  :creepy:
mcpapa Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 While we may take issue with the rankings, these are fun to look at. For example: The highest ranked team with a losing record (and it's not just a losing record, they're 4-10 - the price of playing in the 11th Region) is Lafayette at #59. Next highest-ranked team with a losing record is Butler, ranked 65th.
d-dawg Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Those ratings are pretty accurate 1-9. Could be, I don't know.
ky hoopster Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Oh my these rankings are worthless!! They are just terrible!! "MY" favorite team isn't in the top 10 so they can't be any good. These rankings are a joke. These guys dont know what they are talking about!! Blah! Blah! blah! etc etc etc
