January 10, 200818 yr The problem with both of those polls is that they're administered by each political party. I think I give more credence to the Republican poll, because its easier to be objective when questioning your friends rather than your enemies.

January 11, 200818 yr McCain was the reason I registered Republican when I first registered to vote. I promptly switched when I saw that W was the nominee in 2000. I like him and respect him but can't vote for him b/c he has allied himself with Bush on the war. The War is my main issue so no Republican gets my vote. I certainly can respect that position. Ironically, it is one of the reasons I remain solidly in McCain's camp. We'll not know if the War was the right thing to do for perhaps another 20 plus years.

January 13, 200818 yr My predictions is John McCain will win Michigan and SC by very slim margins, and will soon begin to pull away and lock up the nomination. Dem no contest Clinton in Michigan, and Obama in SC.
