Clinton left office with a 65% approval rating, it was dropping just like the economy was. If he would have had another year, I think it would have been below 40%. Like it or not, he was very despised by many, especially for the way he degraded the office he held.

That is because people vote for their pocketbook and not the issues or morals.

 

As long as you give people money in their pockets, they really don't care about anything else. And that is sad.

 

While their pocketbook was getting smaller because of the dropping of the economy in the last year of his Presidency, he was lucky to get out when he did and he had to not take any of the heat for the downturn in the economy.

The problem lies in the fact that someone would even ask this question. Whom do we dislike the most between one of our former presidents or one of our former coaches @ UK? Come on, basketball is important, but NO where close to running the country and being the most powerful man in the free-world.

 

A lot of the problems that Bush inherited came from Clinton and his lack of acting!
