Dexter is one of many "good guys" on the Fort Campbell team. A lot of people weren't aware that Dexter's father lost his eyesight in a training accident last year, but still made the trip to Louisville to "watch" his son play in the biggest game of his career. Dexter stayed classy throughout and was among the first to thank his dad after the game.

Dexter Durrante was one of the five most impressive players at the state finals, in my opinion. It was an absolute privilige to watch him play.

He came from out of nowhere and killed Bardstown. Was the difference in that game, or it might have been the Tigers in the finals. Love stories like this.
