I want the Browns to continue to build. Here is my take..Trade Derek Anderson. I mean if he is this good why couldn't he play before this season? Quinn is the future for this club. They should sign DA where if another team matches the offer then you get a 1st and 3rd round pick. Then use much of the cap room to shore up the defense as much as you can. Yes next season might not be as bright but with Quinn, Edwards, Jurevicious, Lewis (if re-signed), Cribbs, and Winslow, you have a pretty solid offense. Shore up the defender and you can compete!

The offensive line. 13 sacks in 15 starts makes a hell of a lotta difference than having 3 guys in the backfield as soon as the ball is snapped. The work savage has done with the o-line has been nothing short of amazing.

I agree that the Browns OL was bad but I still dont agree that Anderson is the future. I think this season worked to their advantage. I mean they got the QB they wanted last season. They prepped him for a season and then had a back-up (Anderson) come in and work really good. That set up pretty good trade value for the Browns, now they can trade or sign Anderson and hopefully get some draft picks for him. They have a lot of cap room and will use that for the defense. If they do get a 1st round draft pick expect them to draft a impact defensive player.

Just look how the Chiefs faired. I mean they had Trent Green, then Huard came in and was supposed to be the new future QB, well he busted. And now looks to be on Croyle.

I say go with who you planned for and don't bank on a 1-year wonder like Anderson. He may be a good QB or may not be, hard to say!

I say Clev should see what they could get out of him (first day pick) and then use that pick for Defense.

I am very in favor of letting go of DA if you can get some value for him. While he was nothing short of amazing this season, I was not impressed overall by his decision making. He often relied on his arm strength while forcing the ball into very dicey situations. It worked this year, but I don't like the chances of it being successful year after year.

ActionDan- any good places to watch Browns' games in Lexington? I followed most of them by GameTracker this year and would really like to not rely on that again next season.

Well, my GFs dad has sunday ticket, so I try to catch a game at his house. If not, you can watch the games online for free. If you have a broadband connection, there is a program called Sopcast that you can use to watch the game over the internet.
