December 30, 200718 yr Tom's record is fully deserved, but Moss's deserves an asterisk. After all his 23 TD catches came in 16 games whereas Jerry Rice's came in 12. BTW, is Jacobs always this vocal? He seems to go after the refs quite a bit tonight. Honestly, I don't see how Moss's record "deserves an asterisk". It isn't his fault that there was a strike as when Rice's record happened. In today's PC world, we're to quick to say that there needs to be special notation for records being broken just because this person didn't have as many chances to have it as compared to the person that did get it.
