Nice effort by the Royals tonight, especially on the defensive end. LCA played hard to the end, but the talent differential was huge. Usual fine all-around game from Darius, huge contributions from Tolle, Barner and Rice off the bench. Very balanced scoring. Solid game by Middleton running the show.

Mason was cruising, but when Darius went out with his third foul in the third quarter, Mason found its outside shooting stroke, hitting 5 or 6 in a 2 or 3 minute span. While the game was never in doubt, that run put it way out of reach.

Back tomorrow night against a team that Mason was fortunate to beat last year.

Looks like the Royals did not have any jet lag tonight.

Sounds like a blow out, or was it close until that 14-1 run?

Not really, it was in double digits up to that point.

And who do they play if so?

LCA had it to about 8 in the 3rd quarter. Mason made a run and started to make some shots.

Who does Mason play tomorrow and what time?

Maybe not, but a critic would say that they were just a step slower than usual in getting to loose balls, deflections, etc. Gave up a couple of easy baskets after made baskets; but really it's hard to find too much fault in a 33-point win.

Who does Mason play tomorrow and what time?

JBS, at 8:30.

Good bench play by Mason Co. Jackson Tolle was the Subway player of the game.

Way to go, Jackson!

Nice win for the Royals, very sluggish until that 3rd quarter run. It seems like every game this year, they make a run in the 3rd quarter to take the lead or put the game away.

Will be a tough game tomorrow against June Buchanan, they come in 7-2. Losses to Lexington Catholic by 10 and a team out of Georgia by 3.
