Agree with this statement 100%. Both teams looked terrible. Deming's team played selfish and they didn't utilize their big man. The Mitchell kid should be seeing more playing time. Deming played better with him in the game. I believe coaching experience also made a difference in this one.

No Lambert did not play. He quit the basketball team.

 

Sorry to hear about Lambert--Thought he could have been a good one for PC. Congrats to the Wildcats, in what has to be considered a sizable upset, from all I've read on hear about Deming??

I agree with this to a certain extent. He needs to be getting more looks but when he did get chances he didn't put the ball in the hole. There was once again nobody near his size but he just didn't execute...

deming had more than one chance to win this game. Too many missed foul shots, no defense, no team work. All through the game it appeared that only 1-2 players knew the plays and had to tell the other players where to go, what to do???? The Mitchell kid should be getting more playing time, he is the most defensive player they have and one of the better ones around. He can outright keep up with anyone, quick as lightening. Defense is one area Deming needs to concentrate more on.

Deming has great defense but they strayed away from what they have been doing all year. They just had an off game. Deming has been winning games with ball movement and unselfish play but like you said there was no teamwork tonight but the D is there.

 

They seemed like they were over looking Pendleton because PC had suffered a loss to Augusta and Deming beat Augusta. Maybe they didn't work as hard in practice because they beat Harrison and were over confident

Joe Mitchell has 2 daughters .His oldest plays on Deming girls bball team, her name is Jessica. I believe she is a 8th grader.
