The two of you have no clue about people with CC. They're not "cowboys" that just start firing in any direction, these people are trained and respect and understand what their responsibilities are. The problem is you both fear what you don't understand and neither of you understand guns or responsible people with them.

I hate to burst your bubble but I'm the last person you should say knows nothing about guns, in fact I'm one of the "responsible" people who own them. Speaking from experience, that doesn't make me able to determine good guys from bad guys or control adrenaline in a high stress situation better than anyone else.

Because not nearly as many people carry concealed weapons as compared to those who don't. It's simple: adding more guns to any situation isn't going to make anyone safer. No amount of statistics can prove or disprove that, just logic.
