Doers anyone know if any of the games are televised?

I have not been able to get any of the Kentucky games live but have watched them from all around the country this season including several playoff games.

KHSAA won't allow it.

Agreed, it will not hurt attendance. Ohio had the games on Sportstime Ohio through Time Warner and I would say probably One Million viewers watched those games and attendance didn't seem affected.

Disappointing enough that Bell Co. is home today..... yet I am watching the Tennessee H.S. games live on cable and all the promo that they are doing for their teams. Great for the programs and the kids. At game attendance does not seem to be hurt. Sure would rather be watching the Kentucky games! KHSAA needs to wake up and smell the coffee! Big missed opportunity....but they seem to be "all about the money!" in their decision making processes.

I have a game from the Sunshine state on right now.

They should bid the rights out to whichever station wants it. Let them find sponsors. The KHSAA will make money PLUS provide a service to those that can't be there. It's a win, win situation for them.

 

The people that support their teams will be there regardless of whether or not it is on television.

 

It's sad to say that I too, have sat and watched the TSSAA put on a great show. Alcoa and Randall Cobb looked impressive. I'll watch Maryville also.

 

The KHSAA needs to get into this and help our kids to be seen. I'd love to watch Highlands, Beechwood, Fort Campbell, Lou. Central and others that I would never get to see.
