Final. Carroll made a step in the right direction tonight in my opinion. They played under control more and didn't have nearly as many TO's. Shots just weren't dropping.

I thought Owen beat Carroll bad on the boards. I think 4 players had 8 or more boards, and Owen beat them down the floor a lot. Carroll has some talented players, but they play better in the half court set than running it up and down the floor. Owen's turnovers kept Carrol in it in the first half pr it would have been over a lot earlier.

Good to hear that Carroll took a step forward. Hope it continues. Gamble and Shelton are a pretty good "inside" "outside" combination for Owen.

I agree, HUGE!

Carroll has been competitive in each of their games. They are very inexperienced, even their two seniors do not have much varsity experience. The team needs to stay positve and learn from each game. They will be a very good team in time.

Who is Carroll's other senior, other than Welch?

Carroll's other senior is Brett Boles.

Carroll was down by 4 with the ball around the 4:30 min mark in the final period. Owen did a great job at the free throw line. I bet they didn't miss more then 1 or 2 in the fourth.

Owen has good balance, the big kid in the middle blocked or altered shots all night.

I look forward to the Owen vs Gallatin game.
