I thought I would go ahead and get this one started. Al Holland will coach against the team he coached for several years. Any thoughts?

Holland will be coaching against a team he coached for 12 seasons before jumping across town to rival Hazard. This should be a very exciting game that is sure to be filled with emotion and everything will be left on the court.

 

That said, Hazard appears to have a better team at this point in the season. Perry County will be tested by Estill County at home tomorrow night while Hazard will try to fend off an always pesky Montgomery Co team on Saturday at Knott County.

PCC has had a student athlete quit the team as of yesterday, John Y Amis. I would say that will have an effect on this game. He always plays hard and is always a factor in a game like this. Good luck to both teams, will be a hard ticket. Will say Hazard by 5 in a hard faught battle. I would say this will be the hardest game that Coach Holland will ever have to coach.

Amis will not hurt PCC's team. Pcc is ahead of Hazard right now in practice time. Last second shot. PCC wins.

Rumor has it he was at JBS scouting with the team last night, so I would assume he is back. They did get the news that Jacob Watts, point guard, does have a torn ACL. This means that John Amis and Freshman Eric Back will have to take those minutes from Watts.

This game means more to PCC because they are playing against their former coach & PCC has had their full compliment of players 3 weeks longer. I am going with PCC in an old fashioned, high intensity environment. PCC by 3.

 

Might be a different story in January.

I agree with the point total (100) but I think it will probably be more like Hazard 51 PCC 49 PCC is well coached and physically pretty tough. Might need a good supply of Tylenol and bandaids for this one!! Lots of bumps and bruises!!

Coach Hatcher plays that methodical slow down game so the scoring will be low so I'll say Hazard 53 PCC 45
