December 4, 200718 yr My wife thinks some of you bring it up to get a reaction from me. That's just an added bonus. Since you invoked my name previously: I don't believe I ever called Nick a liar. I said he was terrible in front of a mic and should avoid them at all times. He could easily have handled the Miami/Bama situation much better but , again, he's not good with the media (see 9/11 comments). Bad guy? Probably not. Poor communicator? Absolutely.

You certainly have em' on the history AL, 12 National Titles, Bear Bryant and a number of All Americans (Stabler, L.R. Jordan, Namath...etc..). Alabama's tradition takes a back seat to no one. There imo are a few schools that stand far and above others on history and tradition. Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Notre Dame are ones that immediately come to mind and there are others as well.
