The season begins for these two teams and should be a very good one. Both teams are class A powers who are contenders in the 14th Region. Buckhorn is a top 5 team and Lee Co. is a top ten team. Any thoughts?

This game will get up and down the floor. Noble has a solid team with I believe everyone back except for the Rice kid who graduated. Danny will once again be in the hunt for the 56th district this year with a youthful team that is full of athletes. I look for this one to go to the horn by around 10

Buckhorn will over power the short handed Lee county team. They lost way to much last year and Coach Wright will have to work 10 times as hard this year if he wants to get out of the district and into the region this year. Will be an uphill battle for him all the way. Buckhorn by 20+

Both teams will bring a lot of intensity. I think lee has a few lesser known but outstanding players, but after a few games they will be known who these players are. I pick Lee in a very close one..........64-62........never the less it will be a great game to watch. Im just ready for High School Basketball :dancingpa

I saw Buckhorn's 8th grade class play the other night, and if this is what the future looks like for John Noble, he will have a good one. Wow! It was like watching a freshman team play. Future looks good for Noble and his Wildcats. Could be on their way to getting back to where they were in the late 80s and early 90s.

It is hard to say how Lee Co's lack of experience could play out tonight. Over the summer this same team played JBS two times, losing once by a shot at the buzzer and the other by only a very few points. This team also was leading Scott County at half time (but ended up losing by about 18) on Scott's home floor in a summer scrimmage.

 

Inexperience is unpredictable.

Should be a good game, Lee County still has Charles and Pelphrey (spelling) but Buckhorn will be led by Gay. I look for Buckhorn to pull this one out.
