I dont think it was sour grapes at all....Bell really does need to cut back on the useless penalties. Since the late 90's however, bell has had a problem with that, especially the personal fouls. From my experience with alot of the players from this years team, its not that they disrespect other teams, they just have a confidence that comes off as disrespectful sometimes, but by no means is that what it is, they have the greatest amount of respect for the teams they play, it just comes off wrong sometimes.

I am more talking about the trash talking statement. Its not that Bell County is talking trash the whole game while rockastle is being quiet and playing football. That is simply not true.

You are correct there.

Okay then ROCK may have trashed talked I never seen or heard them but, I was on the sidelines and heard one of the players say a few unchoiced words. But enough said about that I was just meaning that penalties like that can sometimes cost you more than you choice.:argue::argue:

The trash talk probably came from me :sssh: No cursing or anything though :D Seriously. I lead the student section when I am able to go to games, (even though I am not a student) We keep our chants in good spirits because I wont let them go too far and break any KHSAA rules (whistles, profanity/threats towards referees, etc...) I am sure that even Christian/Catholic schools have some bad apples, that is the same for any school. Doodle is a good person and I try to be.

My main goal here is to say that EVERY school has someone that doesn't represent the school as a whole and the school does not accept them as a true fan.

I have really enjoyed all my trips to Bell County (The wins are easier than the losses).

Bell is on a roll this year. I hope they do the mountains proud and bring home the big trophy to Logmountain.

Rockcastle gets to use 13 players on offense and defense?:eek:

Or do they only use 13 kids?

Rock started off the season with about 52 players and lost 8 freshman during the year. Besides that they have about 10 players on the sideline with injuries. One of their best players was hurt in the 2nd game and out for the season. Another starter was hurt before the 1st game and out for the season. During the season they have had about 3 other player to miss games and the last 3 games was without their starting fb and de. Having 5 seniors and all the injuries they have put together a pretty good team to make it this far and go 6-6 with a tough schdule. Proud of the Rock on your season. Bell was the better team this year. Rock has been the best team in years past. That is just the way it is. Good rivalry from year to year. Best of luck to Bell in the final stages.
