Mercer County's title defense

Featured Replies

Mercer went only managed to go 5-6 this year in Class 5 A. This shows the KHSAA were wrong to let them compete at 2 A last year when they dwarfed the enrollment of their opponents. They were excellent last year at the 2 A level with the numbers of athletes they had to draw from, but one has to wonder how that would have played out if they were in with the large schools last year.

^ Maybe so, but this is pretty old news and the moderators have a tendency to close down the threads about Mercer County playing in 2A last year. The KHSAA made their decision a long time ago, everyone in 2A last year had to live with it; and Russell, to their credit, played the Titans to a standstill. Time to move on.

Old News....I'm with mcpapa, time to move on.
Come on rookie!!!! ;) Check out the search tool and find the previous threads on this. :thumb:

That poor horse. Even after he has long since died people keep abusing him! I weep.

This has all been kept hush-hush. Can someone fill me in on the story? I haven't seen anything on here about this. And can someone hand me a whip? There's still some horse left.

Bourbon County won the 2-a state championship in 1997. I think they had a losing record the next year. I guess they should have been dropped to 1-a.

Please disperse. There's nothing to see here.
