I just checked the KHSAA Scoreboard and noticed the had the playoffs called the "Prep Bowl." Did anyone else notice this and if so why the change? Was this discussed by the KHSAA.

Why does that matter? With football, the KHSAA just throws things out on the table and says do them!

FWIW, I actually do like giving the championships a name. I'm just not a big fan of "Prep Bowl." If I could advise the KHSAA, I would follow the lead of Texas and call it the "Kentucky Bowl" or "Bluegrass Bowl" (which would violate the title of Lexington Catholic's game, I know...oh well!)

I saw the Prep Bowl and wondered the same thing??? Should be interesting to say the least.

They've changed it twice now.

 

Monday it was 1-A/2-A/3-A/4-A/5-A/6-A Prep Bowl. Tuesday it was Class whatever State Football Championships. Now it's back to Prep Bowl.

 

Make up your mind, KHSAA. (even though we all know it can't be done)
