Final.

The long trip to Liberty paid off. Several Raiders stood out. Jordan Bray had 3 TD catches and an amazing 1 handed catch for about 30 yards. Jesse Peters had 10 tackles and Corey Jones had 8. QB Justin Hawkes was something like 17 for 25 with 260 yards passing and 190 yds running.

The play of the night had to be the interception return for a TD by Trent Mullikin...way to go Trent!!!!!

Told ya it wouldn't be that hard. Just a long trip.

Well, I didn't want our players to take the game lightly. Casey Co has some tough kids that played really hard.

They really do play hard, they're just outmanned and outcoached every week.

They arent outcoached there buddy. The score was 21-30 with 8 minutes left in the game. Casey had ball on Trimble 1 yard line with a chance to make it 28 - 30 but had a mental mistake and missed a field goal.

Casey threw for 195 yards and ran for 170 tonight.

So they were going to kick a 7 point field goal? I guess the home field advantage is greater than I thought.

1st and goal on 1 they get a few downs to try for the touchdown first....

Coach Stevens gets his kids to play hard. They had some really good schemes.

Just too much Justin Hawkes tonight. This guy has sure stepped it up since Bird got hurt. The Raiders spread the ball around again tonight 2 receivers had 100 yards and one with 75. The raiders dropped 2 touchdowns. Michael Edens also stepped up and ran the ball well.

The Hawkes kid is a great player. He plays hard every snap......

Way to go Raiders!!! Great road win.

Justin Hawkes was 21 of 27 for 301 yards 4 TDs and carried the ball 24 times for 175 yards 1TD and had 3 2 point conversion. Not bad for a guy that had the flu all day.

Coach Poynter is an amazing coach, but don't downplay the efforts of Coach Stephens. He gets a lot out of his boys.

I might add that I enjoyed the trip to Casey Co. Their field was actually one of the nicest that we get to play on and I have not met a more pleasant chain gang to work with. The AD also seemed to be top notch and had everything ready for the opponent.

The poor kid drank orange juice all day to try to combat the bug. He felt bad all through the 1st half, but seemed to feel pretty good by the end of the game!

Great win for the Raiders. Get ready for the re-match against the Wildcats.
