Thoughts and predictions?

There hasn't been much BGP discussion on Casey Co this year. Does anyone know much about them?

This could be a good game.

Casey will play hard and they have a strong running attack.

I will take Trimble 22-14

The only team that I know of that played them is Somerset in their district. After talking to some Jumper fans, they didn't have much against Somerset. If I recall SHS had them down by 48-0 at halftime or something like that and their starters came out before the half. They ran the ball OK against the JV team in the 2nd half with a running clock.

Casey is a little small, both in roster size and player size. Couple of hard-working backs, and they'll throw it a little bit, too. They were overmatched in their district against all except Jackson, a second-year program. They're not going to the playoffs, so they'll throw it all out there in this game. Trimble's probably the pick, but Casey's got a decent shot at home.

TC 57

CC 12

It's getting easier and easier for me to pick against these CC teams!!

The Raiders better come to play, Casey has some tough kids that play hard on both sides of the ball and it is a long trip to Casey. Also a tough place to play. BETTER BE READY RAIDERS!!!!:fight:

I agree. Trimble hasn't played there in years, so these kids will be in totally new surroundings and that will be a little daunting. The bus right will be very long and there won't be much time for pre-game warm up, either. Since this is the last game for Casey, they won't be holding anything back.

Trimble Co. 34-19.

The surroundings may be unfamiliar for Trimble, but they aren't at all daunting. Casey will go all out, especially in its last game, but there's not that much of a home-field advantage there. If it was that tough a place to play, Casey would win more. Football isn't that well supported there, and they tend not to draw well. The biggest disadvantage for visiting teams is probably the long hike from the locker room to the field. For Trimble's perspective, it's probably about the same distance as you'd have at Carroll County.

This shouldn't be close, outside of Jackson Co. Casey is the weakest team I have seen all year. They play hard but they're outmanned. Trimble 34-Casey Co. 7.

Yeah, daunting was a stretch. :D However, we have a few kids feeling under the weather and that could make a difference...especially with the LONG bus ride (3 hrs).
