Lex Cath's Smart commits to walk-on at Vandy

Featured Replies

Congrats to J.Smart. I had the pleasure of meeting Jordan and his parents this summer and he is a really great young man to be around and one heck of an outside shooter. He will do well at Vandy.

COngrats to Jordan he is a great player but more importantly is a great person off the court! Good Luck!

Jordan Smart has worked as hard as anyone in Kentucky on his game and

he was recruited hard by Vandy, he has the academics to go there and he turned down some other d-1 offers to play at the SEC level. I can see Vandy taking a red shirt year to work on his body and Jordan will end up playing a lot of ball for Vandy. He has the length that coaches love, and he has a big time 3 ball, and you can always find a place for a SHOOTER

Congrats

Lex Cath is going to have a very special year coming up:thumb:

Congratulations Jordan!!!!

You will have success in life as a result of your values and hard work, on and off the court.

Well said. Jordan is extremely hard working and always seems to be improving. On top of that, he seems very humble and only wants to help his team. I agree with shooterX as well. He'll play and contribute at Vandy. Only needs to add some bulk and strength. He's a steal as a walk-on at Vandy.

Congratulations! My son graduated from Vandy several years ago (he was not an athlete) and absolutely loved the school. From what I've seen of Smart, he should be a solid contributor to the 'Dores.
