This gives a young Twolves team a vet who they can lean on. Plus they get a solid backup vet in Doleac and a draft pick. Simien is just a throw in to make the numbers match, I doubt he sticks around in Minny for long. Miami will get a problem child in Ricky Davis. He's a good ballplayer, for sure, but the intangibles he brings to the table are questionable. He's not a locker room guy. For goodness sakes the guy threw a shot up on the wrong basket so he could get the rebound to record a triple double. There has to be a reason he's been a journeyman his whole career. On top of all that he wears a headband. In the long run, I like Minny to come out ahead.

I cant think of any problems the last two or three years. He and KG seemed to co-exist and he is going to be a better scorer than Toine ever thought about being at this point in Toine's career.

Maybe he has grown up and he is a player, but I still like the Twolves.

October 25, 200718 yr My how quickly we forget that Employee #8 "makes baskets"... Well, I would say Toine "takes shots" but "makes baskets" can be a stretch. He definitely has as much trouble as Shaq making free throws as well. I never understood why Toine was so bad at those.
