Bengals fans = confusing and misguided

I chose to overlook nothing.

I stated stats, Carson has thrown those INT's whether to Chad or not.

Chad is the freaking 2nd leading receiver in the NFL, behind Randy Moss......RANDY MOSS. If not for him Carson would be throwing into a lot more honest coverages, because after Housh, who they got?

The funny thing is there are 2 of you guys that are saying were not picking on Chad........and this board is full of Bengals fans.

Somewhere in this thread you either alluded to or said that we are saying that Chad is the MAIN PROBLEM. Glad to see in the previous thread you are backing off that and now saying that we are saying he is simply ONE of the PROBLEMS.:thumb:

That was my point, to correct your oversight in the assumption that we think, just because we started a thread or made a post on him that he is the MAIN PROBLEM.

Unless he plays defense or is the coach, he is not a main problem.

I do think BESIDES Carson, he has the most trade value to bring in defensive help.

Obviously, Marvin has proven he CANNOT sign FA's to help the defense.

Obviously, Marvin has proven he CANNOT judge defensive talent to immediately and long term help the defense.

That leaves trades as the only option. And there is not much in the cupboard to trade.

I hate to say it, but it seems to me the Bengals need to avoid any "player's coach(es)" in the future. Tom Coughlin is the drill-sergeant-type this bunch needs, and perhaps suggest Marvin be demoted to DC, which I'm sure he wouldn't like. And they really should model themselves after the Steelers (a suggestion I naturally saw met with howls of derision in another thread) w/re to scouting and draft strategy.

Ever wonder why it is that star defensive players are often casually let go while in their prime and up for a contract, yet the defense never misses a beat (other than in the DeWayne "Toast" Washington years)?

Actually, I believe you thought JD was a Chad hater, when he was clearly being sarcastic.
