Hinson is getting his guys in shape at St. Pat. Owens is looking good too, as is Anderson.

Hard to tell yet what GRC will be like this year. Several are still playing football, including transfer Ryan Williams. Also have been told that we may see some new faces that can help out in the post. Have a outstanding Freshman class..this is what I am not sure on...with the exception of Robbie Stenzel...who will start.. not sure which and how many of the Freshman will contribute on varsity. This could be a ongoing process and some brought up as the season goes on....guess we will just have to wait and see.

I believe alot of teams start tryouts, but also have to wait until football is over to look at those players who are playing basketball. I'm sure doesn't effect many but it could make a difference at some schools.

Same thing at Gallatin, except they will have less time because they have at least one round in the playoffs. Probably two rounds. Gallatin's first game is against Scott County, the defending state champs. They could certainly use more practice time together before taking them on.

At Ashland we have to wait on several....

Boone Co. is extremely young right now. They have 1 senior, 1 junior, and the rest sophomores at this point. 3 seniors and 2 juniors are still playing football and probably won't be much help to them at the start of the season. Also, another key junior is out right now with an injury. Talented sophs, but they have to be one of the youngest teams in their region. 1st scrimmage on 11/10 against Fern Creek.

It is over! The boys are out and going strong. I hate it for the football team, but a whole month of practice before their first game will be nice, and not just 5 or 6 practices.
