Great win for Bell County!!! I don't think this surprised too many people. Bell is having a great season.

And congratulations to Coach Hilton! He has become the 2nd coach ever to win 300 games as a Kentucky high school head coach. Bell is having a great season and Coach Hilton has had a great coaching career!

What did bells 3 backs numbers look like?

From what my friends that attended said Greer had nearly 140, also said FB Goodin had a good night they thought he was close to 100. Dials from SC was held in check until late in the fourth when he was running against the JV. Congrats to Coach Hilton.

I would say that it was all even on silly blowed opportunities and penalties.

Only JV I saw go into the game was with only 2 min. left in the game.

According to sports overtime Greer had 133 yds and 1 td on 21 carries, and Dials had 132 yds on 24 carries. Nelson had 2 TD Passes (Hilton, Zachery) and Matt Simpson had a late game rushing TD. Merrick had 1 field goal from 27 yds.

On other sites in their region Sheldon Clark folks are saying that Bell was not impressive and that SCHC played really a bad game. I certainly disagree. Sheldon Clark came out extremely fired up. It was Senior Night. They stopped Bell on some initial drives and Bell punted more tonight than any game all year, I believe. Bell County's defense was the key. They had a tremendous goal line stand that broke the spirits of the Cardinals. As game went on Bell got stronger and their power running game wore down Sheldon Clark. SCHS has a good team. But Bell proved that they are worthy of their rankings and are moving one game at a time toward the ultimate goal of the first 4-A championship in the new reorganization.
