There was a great crowd tonight (not as big as the 2005 apple bowl) but still a great crowd. I'd say app. 5,000 to 6,000 people.

 

Johnson Central gave up a td pass early in the 1st quarter and a td w/ a 2 pt. conversion against the freshman squad. Other than that, JC dominated this game.

This is the 1st time EVER that the seniors from JC beat Paintsville all 4 years.

JC had the 2nd string in the game near the middle of the 3rd quarter and the freshman played the majority of the 4th quarter.

I was there for the first quarter and half the second quarter. But it was over then so i came home and watched Kentucky beat themselves.:creepy:

Matney has taken all the fun out of this rivalry. It is time to pull the plug on the Apple Bowl and let both teams schedule somebody that they can compete with. I am glad that I stayed home and watched the 'Cats. At least the game was not out of reach before the second half started.
