September 27, 200718 yr Southern KY, area Meece or Corbin 8th grade. South Laurel or Whitley Co. 7th grade. I would have to take Meece 8th and South Laurels 7th. Meece and Corbin played with Meece winning. Corbin did not have their starting QB, he was out hurt. South Laurel and Whitley Co. unfortunately will not play this year, to settle the best 7th grade team. It would be a great game Souths, defense is fast and their offense is quick scoring. Whitley is a big, powerful teams, with a very good offense and defense.

The 7th grade should be a pretty good game.
September 28, 200718 yr I know Elkhorn is good... But Royal Springs has won one game in two years... and that was against West Jessimane. East and West Jessimane are not very good teams this year. Georgetown beat West 44 - 8 last night. Has Elkhorn played Woodford Co yet? They are always a good test.

October 5, 200718 yr Georgetown beat Royal Springs 36-0 One of WJ coaches told one of his players to elbow one of GMS players in the throat. Then they stop play after 3 quarters... Zero Class...... Speaking of classy... Reports are that Elkhorn's coaches were at RSMS last night with a camera, filming our game. If this is true... its not very ethical, but if the coaches are paying attention... GMS is playing Scott Co middle at GMS at 12:30. Bring your Kodak..... See you next week.
October 7, 200718 yr Author I don't think that they had a camera with them and i don't think they needed it. What about GMS having there there starter in at the last of the game when RSMS have there 2string team in. Thats real classly.:thumb: I look forward to this game next week. October 8, 200718 yr GMS Has played everyone almost every game of the year... The Royal Springs did not have their entire 2nd team out there... GMS doesn't have the greatest depth at all posisitons. The coaching staff are also High School Coaches, they only get about 40 min with thier team a day. So there is not a lot of individual instruction to build much depth. So they may have had a couple starters still in there. They were not blitzing, or throwing passes. I have no idea how good Bonderant is... But I do know this... We beat Scott Middle , Woodford co, Bell Co, Oldham, Royal Springs, Harrison Co, East Jessamine, West Jessamine.. All but Bell Co were blow outs... Elkhorn will be our biggest test. But Elkhorn has Woodford yet... The ELKS may not even get in the playoffs.

October 9, 200718 yr Elkhorn is a very good team and Georgetown has to play at their best to beat them... The thing that will make it a little more sweet to beat the Elks is that some of the coaches are taking this super serious. I mean come on, it Middle school football. I understand that in Franklin Co, there is not much more after 8th grade when it comes to football, but lets all take a step back. Scott Co has 3 middle schools, the talent is diluted a bit, but it doesn't matter because in the end we are all CARDINALS, and thats what really matters.
