What on earth has happened to Paris? Before the season started we were hearing about an unstoppable track team in pads and cleats.:confused:

Good game last night for 3 quarters before a couple of ejections gave Noclas Co. an edge.

But I still dont thing that that really had a lot to do with it. Nicholas was definately the better team that night from start to finish and Paris never really got anything going on Offense with only one score.

 

Mattox did a great job running the ball all night. I have always been on him about fumblin the ball... and he did put it on the turf, but, I think thats his first of the season, and his rushing performace over shadowed that.

Wow, this could mix things up for the 3 and 4 teams in the districts.

No Excuses... Nicholas flat out beat us. I tip my cap to Coach Hop and the obvious job that he has done with his kids in the offseason! We wish them luck the rest of the year.

 

Two things have really hurt us... Injuries and Eligibility. We look forward to getting better every week. With a great offseason we will have an opportunity to compete.

 

As for the ejections... complete lack of class by a couple of our players. We have worked hard to teach our kids class and competitiveness. As with all things, it will take time and dedication. Our seniors will step up and lead the way.

The biggest improvement i see is the strength on both the o and d line. Last year it seemed like the lines were always being thrown around like rag dolls. There is a lot more push from both sides of the ball now.
