Ballard-24 Manual-21 in a game that looks lika a toss up I'll go with the home team. If the Rams pull this one out they are for real.

In my humble opinion, and not having seen either team, it boils down to the fact that Manual has been knocking on the top tier door for the past several years (including beating Trinity if I'm not mistaken) while the Bruins have not. Therefore, the Crimsons are better situated to win the game, assuming everything else is about equal. I say Manual - by a TD or less.

This like all good ball games will come down to who tackles and blocks better. I think both schools have athletes. If a team comes out flat or arm tackling in this game they will lose.

Manual should win, but if Ballard's performance against X was a true indicator, I think Ballard can win. At least I am pulling for the Bruins.

 

I'm not sure how much the heat the night of the Ballard -X game played a role. In another thread a writer said the heat took its toll on Ballard. It should be cool enough, but will it be dry enough (30% chance -so far). Manual by 6

Extremely tough to predict this one. I gave Ballard the nod based on their performance against X and big win over PRP. Obviously, when the pigskin is tee'd up this week neither of those games will make a hill of beans difference. Best of luck to both teams, should be a good one!!
