Evarts 40 Cawood 20

Featured Replies

Evarts fell behind 14-0 in the first nine minutes but rallied to take the lead and never looked back. A big win for the wildcats!

Wow! I didn't expect this. I knew this game could go either way, but thought the margin of victory would have been much closer.

Great Job Evarts! I was getting updates from Cumberland and they were telling me the Evarts score too. I wonder what ol Saylor thinks about this one!:sssh: :sssh:

Wasn't Cawood ranked in the preseason?

Congrats to Evarts!

Congrats to Evarts!

No. Cawood was 3-8 last year.

Evarts played well. They've improved a lot since last year and could make a run in Districtt 7 of Class A.

"Wow" what a great win for Evarts. They must be a pretty solid football team. It is nice to see them have some success up their. Great job coaching staff and players and good luck to you the rest of the year

Good win for Evarts...I'm sure Coach Perry was livid after giving up 40 points. I'm anxious to see Glenn Roberts play...apparently he hits anything that moves.

What was the status of Cochran? Did he end up playing, or did Helton step in QB?

Cochran played and had a very good game.

All of the wildcats had a good game. Cochran played well, but didn't every one.
