Corbin ahead of Rockcastle! They must have had a glitch in their program to miss this one. I'm sure they are rewarding them for their schedule to date, but also reward Rockcastle for beating a VERY talented SW Pulaski team.

You have a point, but Sheldon Clark was ranked top 10 week 1 and they got stomped by Prestonsburg last year.

Should South Laurel be in there somewhere? They beat the BGP #6 team in 4A by 30. Even though the D isn't that stout yet. The offense is a high-powered machine

For the Hazard doubters, the Bulldogs are going to surprise some people. I look for them to beat Clay Co., without arguably their best player, Michael Campbell, who I heard would still be out.

 

I forgot about Southwestern too. They would be ahead of Sheldon Clark and Hazard in my top 10.

They made a strong offensive statement last week that they very well may belong. However, the defense is weak right now. But, Valley helped them out when they got away from the run, which SL could not stop and it cost Valley dearly. They tried to run and gun with the Cards and got whipped. I think SL's offense has to give them at least a few votes in the poll, that's for sure, but if the defense has to step up their game several notches, and if they do, the Cards could be in the mountain top 10 at some point this season.

 

I can't believe Rock was behind Corbin in this one. But, it is just an early season poll after only 1 game for these teams. It will all come out in the next few weeks.

Color me skeptical. We will find out Friday. If Prestonsburg wins, they will be in the Top 10.

I really think Bell Co. is #1 Team then Belfery #2 and Johnson Central #3 the Breathitt Co. Bobcats #4 and a bunch fill in rest But how is Pikeville so high on list,Rockcastle should be higher i do believe and Corbin not as bad as people think should have score at least 2 times on Belfery so lots good teams in mountians .....Go Bobcats....
