The JC defense is been very good forcing both South Point drives to 3 and out. The passing attack seems to be working nicely for the Eagles.

Do you think it is so much that, or is it the growing pains of a pretty much brand new O-line and brand new FB? Nearly everyone stacked the box against JC last season, but it was nice that the Eagles had one of the best FB's in the state as well as that solid line to make life easier.

I see JC's defense as being REALLY strong this season..especially when you have Dials anchoring it.

Alot of it is the new line and the new FB I agree. But the Eagles will happily throw the ball it appears.

Eagles seem to be having alot of gitters with 6 penalties for 40 yds.

That's what makes this JC team especially dangerous, Ratliff is drastically underrated as a QB, and Grimm's versatility allows him to hurt you running, catching, and passing. Plus Matney has never seen a play that he wasn't afradi of running, even if it is a triple flea flicker to a tackle eligible.. haha
